Should children study Martial Arts?
In general, yes. There are many positive reasons including control of aggressiveness, instilling self-respect and self-control, as well as self-defence.
Greater focus and concentration...
...extend
into other parts of life and could mean that your child learns more
in school.
A great workout...
... means
that exercising in this way helps your child breathe better, eat
better, and sleep better. Furthermore your child will be getting
their hour of physical activity as advised by health professionals.
Greater self confidence...
... is
achieved, as the students are encouraged to push themselves.
Improved confidence can lead to better
grades, a wider circle of friends, improved performance in other
sports.
Self-defence...
...
Hopefully, your child will never be picked on or need to fight but,
should the need arise they will know how to protect themselves. Your
child will improve his or her strength, flexibility, and overall
health.
Your child will learn to strike with
tremendous power and effectiveness.
Children, through training, learn to
spot danger and avoid dangerous people, places and activities.
KARATE
